On November of 2005, Carmen vidal-Hallett receives a travel grant from Partners of America to start the Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning exchange between the Partner States of Illinois and Sao Paulo, Brazil
Carmen Vidal-Hallett from EcoVidalDesign and family participate in an article about how to contribute to personal carbon footprint reduction. See entire article on the attached link and Tribune's front page cover including a picture of Carmen and daughter Emilia at the home rain garden which collects 90% of the rain water on site. The garden was designed and constructed in 2007 with the assistance of the Chicago Center for Green Technology rain garden program.
